Japanese Bronze of Longboat with Passengers and Oarsman

This detailed Japanese bronze sculpture features five passengers, a monkey and an oarsman in a traditional longboat. The sculpture conveys lifelike movement for each character. Furthermore, one might imagine them being ferried along a river as they go about their daily activities.
