Rare Japanese Ceremonial Hanging Ornament

This decorative Japanese ornament, crafted in brass, copper and silver, has similarities with a wind chime. First, it has a ring for hanging. Four bells and a clapper extend from chains at the bottom of the frame. The ornament also features a pierced flower and vine motif. Two circular medallions with Japanese characters and a centerpiece with Japanese writing complete the design.
