Rare Swiss Eterna Wristwatch with Rotating Bezel
A rare Eterna wristwatch dating to the early 1900’s and WWI. During that time, men’s wristwatches came into being out of necessity for military purposes. Models such as this were often referred to as trench watches. This fine example from the legendary house of Eterna is all original, including the crown and factory dial with luminescent material. Of particular interest is the rotating bezel and pointer needle for keeping track of a fixed time. The case is crafted of nickel and is accented by the rose gold pointer and crown.
Keeping the time within is a high-grade 15 jewel manual movement. The time displays on the dial with luminous Arabic numerals, blued steel luminous cathedral-style hands, and a subsidiary seconds dial. Fitted to a leather strap with the original buckle. And finally, this fantastic timepiece bears a full restoration and an 18-month warranty.
