This wonderfully fantastic music box features a unique design and style. The lovely 8-tune cylinder movement resides in an exquisite, heavily carved Black Forest case. Beautifully crafted of richly colored walnut, this enchanting music box displays a dramatic hunting scene atop its lid. An intricate sculpture of a fox capturing a pheasant is rendered in high relief amongst the leaves and branches of the forest floor. Acanthus leaves and vine carvings further decorate each side of the case adding wonderful adornment and dimension. The cylinder music box plays 8 delightful tunes, with a tune indicator allowing the listener to follow along.
