This wonderful Swiss cylinder music box dates to the late 1800s and is a fine example of musical and mechanical ingenuity. The instrument resides within a beautiful Brazilian rosewood case adorned with intricate marquetry inlay, showcasing a musical motif on the top and front panels. Not only does this delightful machine play a selection of ten tunes, but it also features the optional accompaniment of a drum and six bells with charming bumblebee strikers that add a whimsical delight to the piece.
